This project was recorded at Route 1 Recording in Monticello, MS and includes “The Long Run”, “Crossing Over, “This Could Be the Day” written and sung by Tyler Bridge who also plays Lead Guitar and Bass on this project.
Tyler collaborating with pianist Marvin Curtis produced “True Friend” sung by Denise Leggett and “This Could Be the Day” Sung by Denise, Jessica and Tyler.
“One Day Closer” is an optimistic song written by Nick Bridge who also plays all the drums and acoustic guitar on this CD.
Highlights include Jessica Curtis’ rendition “The Blood Will Never Lose It’s Power” which was recorded in one take!!
“Jesus is the Light” is a very powerful uplifting song written by Mark Brown of Taylors, SC. The CD ends with a guitar instrumental of “I Surrender All” performed by Tyler.

The Route 1 Sessions
This instrumental CD is the result of 5 friends jamming on some of their Gospel favorites in a studio nestled in the woods of Lawrence County, Mississippi.
The Route 1 Sessions marks the 2nd project from Tyler Bridge and Crossing Over; An all instrumental album featuring Tyler on guitar, Marvin Curtis on piano, Nick Bridge on drums and Amanda Howell-Price on bass.
Anna Grace Kimbrough joins the group on this CD fiddling as only she can! Holding true to the group name, this CD - like the first, crosses over musical styles and genres. You’ll find arrangements from jazz, country, bluegrass, and straight ahead Gospel.
Looking at the track list you’ll find some well known titles and one original. However everyone puts their stamp on these favorites and Marvin’s original arrangements. All of the musicians get to stretch their musical chops on this project!
